Lil B here. It's not such a sunny day down in my lethal legal sphere where daggers are hidden, looks are deceiving, words are bent to the untruth, and expressions can hardly be deciphered. You think your life is a funfair circus? Wait till you shake a hand with invisible needles, brittle piecemeal alliances, and unrepentant bitchings which threaten to ruin the one's reputation.

It's A New Year!!!

First and foremost,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMMIE!!!
I'm sorry I'm such a lousy friend to not be able to text you personally but leave it on the blog. May the decade ahead of you be filled with love and blessings!!!
*****

Funny, this year is definitely one year which I am so not looking forward to.

Because I will be turning 2 decades old.

I sound so old.

Anyway, today started off pretty weirdly.

Well, I randomly walked up to my sis at 6.40 am and asked her if she wanted Cintan Curry Mee (Instant Noodles) for breakfast instead of her usual disgusting cereal drink. It was the most glorious breakfast. And a first. The dad was worried that we would be late. Oh, and the sister complained about why I write so little about her in my blog. Hmm. She woke up pretty weird too.

I woke up at 3.15 am to study for the mock exams. Well, was supposed to get up at 1.30 am but continued sleeping for fear of a "hangover" due to acute lack of sleep. And I had to drag myself up just to study.

And there was this HUGE fat-ass mosquito sitting on my sister's bed. I had such an evil glee to kill it. Hence, the unforgiving palm struck the bed hard. Only to miss it. Wow, Debble, you're really great. You can't even hit a bloody mosquito!!! To my surprise, the mosquito didn't fly!!! It just merely jumped. And I hit and hit and hit (and miss and miss and miss) but the mosquito just kept jumping. Finally, when it landed on my sister's ankle, I gave it a hard WHACK!! only to have my sis wake up and scream "What the hell are you doing?" at me. Oh well. Gosh, it was such a satisfying kill!!! And along with it splashed at least 2 ml of blood on the blanket and my finger. No wonder the mosquito couldn't fly. It was too greedy to suck so much of my blood (which I found out later because I had 3 bites on my left arm) that it was too fat/heavy to fly. Now, back to my express revision. This is just a side-kick story to break mundanity.

Gosh, sometimes I really hate studying.

Well, for a start, my Criminal Law was only half-baked. Really. Because I have been reading Criminal Law and writing notes in various very creative places. Like One Utama Shopping Mall and The Curve. Yes. Mom went shopping while I sat on those plushy chairs provided by the mall to study. (No, it's actually for those whose feet are threatening to split) But who cares? I do what I want.

The worst part is I didn't cover 2 of the most important topics: Homicide and Non-Fatal Offences.

And I haven't studied Contract. Well, just glanced through the notes that I made from 9am - 4 pm (for 3 days in a row) last year for A Levels.

And... and... I haven't studied Tort.

Gosh, it was hell of a 3 am.

I decided to read Markesinis and Deakin's Law on Tort. I think these people are so emotionally charged for the topic of psychiatric injury. Seriously, they can't stop bickering about how the courts should have approached the claim for damages and how advanced is medical evidence these days that the Lords need not worry about "frivolous" claims because they can now find out the cause for the psychiatric injury, hence no one can fake it. I was half laughing when I read the book. I wonder if that is the reason why they are academicians; the fact that they are tired of the judges.

And damn it, I was blamed the entire day by the entire class for being a bitch to drop the bomb the day before that we have classes today itself despite of the mock exam. Only to find out that there was, in fact, no classes.

We were the only pathetic idiots studying at Asia Cafe after that. It's the first day of college and we are nerding away with a table strewn with books and papers all over. And that Jesse McCartney's damn song just has to sing "Don't stress, don't stress, don't stress". Leave me to my pathetic life okay?? I need the stress to get me studying or I'll still be on cloud 9. (Or probably Club 9 playing pool). Hah, it's been quite a long time since I last played pool.

The exam? Pooh. I hated it. When the questions were given, I was on the verge of crying. The questions were INSANE!!! Criminal was okay, but there was so much to talk about!! And I couldn't get the brains working to get me points out on rough paper. So I fidgetted and jumped from question to question. Changed answer sheet papers and re-wrote my introduction. And wasted 30 minutes.

I absolutely had no clue about what the Contract question wanted. Although we can carry that fat McKendrick Contract Law book which weighs a tonne in, it was of no use at all. If you don't understand the question, you don't even have anything to flip the pages to. Hence, the book is just a pretty 'little' ornament adorning your table. To show that you are busy and all university-like. Yeah right.

I started Tort question on why psychiatric injury was a problem in law only to realise that I don't even understand what I'm arguing about. So I changed answer sheet.

Then I jumped to Criminal Law. Gosh, writing the introduction was hell. How do I even begin to introduce that fella's liability which consisted of both homicide and non-fatal offences? If I were to lay out the general principle for both offences I'll take up a whole page and write a whole load of grandmother stories and waste time, ink and paper.

In the end, I wrote so much of grandmother story that I ended up with 4 full pages. And 1 hour for the other 2 questions.

In a rush, well, thank God, my thoughts seemed to allign for Tort. So I wrote about 3 pages of grandmother stories, adorning Markesinis and Deakin's very emotional arguments just for the sake of scribbling something on the paper within 30 minutes. (and hypocritically agreed with them since I didn't have a very strong argument in regards to the Lords).

Oh, and underlining, I realised, is so damn helpful. I suddenly understood the Contract question by the grace of God. Yup. And I started flipping the McKendrick book to get some cases (because I remembered none). Heh. And I finished it on time!!!

Anyway, that was what happened during the Mock.

I am crossing every limb that I will be passing Contract and Tort and hope that I did not write out of topic for Criminal.

I Almost Met with A Massive Accident

Seriously, I hate Malaysian drivers.

Ok, I admit that I have a tendency to accelerate but one has to or else get knocked at the back or get honked. (And I only go at about 80-100 on Federal)

So, today, after passing the Subang toll gate, I accelerated. Only to have this fucktarded (I'm sorry, I really have to curse here) grey Waja car swerved to my lane (the middle lane which is "supposedly" safe) just to overtake a lorry.

For goodness' sake, have a little patience!!! And look at your bloody side-mirror before you switch lanes!!! And you weren't even accelerating fast enough to cut into my lane!

Thank God my dad turned my steering (because I was half dazed - need to use my brains a little more in driving) and I swerved to the right lane and missed the grey Waja by mere inches and the Avanza car on the right lane behind me by mere inches.

And thank God I had the sense to switch my foot and step on the break and turn the steering wheel to the right and back before I hit the divider. I think the Avanza dude had to break very hard. Sorry, uncle, and thank you for breaking too.

I tell you that STUPID STUPID STUPID WAJA CAR!!!!! He had to recover in the middle lane behind me for a while before he went taking off at mad speed on the right lane again. I hope that whoever was in the car gave him a good slap on his face, and if they don't, I hope God will slap him for me. I'm seriously so damn mad with that IDIOT!!!

The Avanza uncle was so nice, he just gave me a light beep on the honk to tell me how dangerous I was. Which I knew that I was damn dangerous. But I'm so grateful for him for breaking.

I officially have a grudge against Waja car drivers. Seriously, just because you drive a much more expensive version of locally made cars doesn't mean that you're driving a ferrari and please come to your senses that you need to have patience in driving. I always follow the lorries for a while until I have the chance to switch lanes. Oh, and please bear in mind that you're actually driving a tin can too. Perodua drivers are wayyyyyyyy better than bloody Proton drivers. Especially Waja cars.

Dad was really scared because if we were to crash he will suffer the most damage. And I am thankful for his adrenaline and his alertness.

It's the second time I'm so damn bloody blur in my driving. I need to get my brains in.

I really thank God for protecting us.

Let me update a little of what has happened since this blog has been quite dead for a month and a half. I'll just put it in point form.

  1. I had this toe-cracking experience.

Basically, we were wearing formal wear (as in coat and all) and we girls were wearing heels. And we had to stand around from 9 am right until 7.30 pm. Ok, for me it was from 7 am since I had to commute via train to KLCC. It was for the International Moot competition and this LawAsia Conference. We got to see Badawi speak in real life. Leave me an offline note if you wanna bitch bout it. It was fun and full of experience as a whole though.

Oh, and the toes really threatened to crack because I escorted the mooting team which I was in charge with all the way to the Corus hotel. And we went on foot.

  2. I became Smeagol x 3.

Thanks to the mother who came back from London and forgot where she placed her rings; accusing me of misplacing them while I was keeping them for her all the time. It took me 3 1/2 weeks to find for those 3 bloody rings. And guess what? We found them in her pants pocket. JOY!

  3. I'm beginning to see the light.

OK, as in, almost dead and also, I am no longer that blur. Yes, I finally got a grip of my studies and I can actually concentrate and know what I'm doing. Tutorials are a great way to wake me up and slap me in the face on how little I know about my stuff. Although I have done A Levels, but that is immaterial because we have added elements (the ones A Levels omitted) and they are quite crucial in understanding the law.

  4. Tutorials sucks the life out of you.

I just had a whole full week of tutorials and my workload was basically piled up so high; it was as if I was drowning in a sea of books.

  5. University life is a world of difference from A Levels.

I thought that the transition from SPM to A Levels was a major change and given that A Levels is quite similar with university. Consequently, I thought there won't be much change. But I was obviously wrong.

University life is so much more hectic with so much of self-reading and understanding to do. We practically have to read all full cases on our own and make lots of case briefs. And we are told that in order to get a second upper we'll have to read at least 4-5 books. Such joy and bliss. A first class requires additional materials.

  6. Books.

Given that I need to read 4-5 books for each module and the books are thicker than dictionaries, I have been officially been pronounced a nerd without needing any certificate to proof it. I tried carrying 4 books yesterday but I gave up after 10 minutes. They weighed about 15 kgs there. Madness. My arms are sore.

  7. I pierced my ears!!!

Yes, finally after so long. The mom consented.

  8. I slept yesterday night immediately after dinner.

I was so tired from all the lack of sleep from the tutorial week.

  9. I have developed a serious speed reading skill.

I mean, we are in the university of reading... which really makes us read. I mean, Law for a fact. But I really like my university studies because it clears up so much of my misunderstandings and doubts from A levels. And I do plan to get a first class, if I can get as a consolation to my blow at dignity because of A levels.

  10. I love my class.

The people are totally not those sensitive kind and you can joke all that you want. Even at their expense! And my group of friends, (mixture of Malaysians, Singaporeans, Tanzanians and Kenyans) are just so awesome. Love them to bits! And the best part is everyone is not that naive to look at live so conventionally and be so blinded. And they all have a cynical point of view at the world of politics. Which is fun. At least rather than talking about myself we talk about politics; which is so much more fun!! I can finally lay low about my profile and choose to hold back.

Overall, my life is a mixture of hell and bliss. It's law afterall. What was I expecting??

Attempt at being Cinderella

Yesterday was spankingly awesome.

Not because Uni was awesome, but because I got to drive all on my own courtesy of dahdee's consent.

I went home at 1 pm and had lunch.

And started running my errands as Miss Personal Assistant to an ex-extremely-critical-and-efficient-Admin Manager; in other words, my mother.

I had to make dozens of phone calls, be extremely assertive to get things my way; enquire informations which are way beyond for a person of my age [they were all shocked to hear that I am the daughter instead of THE ultimate person] and make arrangements and appointments.

And I got my way!! Yay!!

So before I got the answer, the dahdee who came to the college and I took over to drive home, had to quickly change cars and rush off to work. He left at 2 pm.

After all the phone calls, it was 2.45 pm and my Criminal Law book and Contract book were just lying hopelessly directly beside me, untouched and untainted by my brains and fingers. So much for reading up and preparing for today. But no, the matter at hand is at bigger stake than the books.

And finally, I passed the negotiation to 2 other people to come up with the appointment time.

Meanwhile, while waiting impatiently for the reply; I went into the kitchen to boil water under the request of the dahdee.

After that, I walked into the hall; attempting to clear up all the mess that my mom and sis left behind before the flew off.

Out of spontaneity, I started unpacking my sister's trunks. And started sorting the clothes out according to colours and the clothes which have the possibility of shedding their colour.

And I washed the clothes. Using the washing machine of course. Not such a classic Cinderella afterall. But it's still a first for washing clothes.

I was impatient for it to be 3 pm so that I can consult my "manager"  on the actions which I should take for the situation at hand.

Finally, I got through to the sister's phone after a serious of screaming into the phone receiver. It's weird. Everytime I make international calls, I find that the volume of the person on the other line is extremely soft. Which is absolutely irritating because it feels like my sister suddenly got dumb and I am speaking Fiji language.

I was told that they were going to Oxford that day. Fine. Finished the call and immediately, the phone rang again.

The appointment was set at 4.30 pm.

Then I went round doing more housework, getting myself ready to go to the bank and also to drive by myself. For the first time; after 3 official lessons of long-distance driving. It's sad - yes. I drove.

At 4 pm, while I was getting the clothes out of the washing machine to dry, my handphone rang. The guy might not be able to make it on time because he had to rush to two places.

I was anxious because I didn't want the other fella to think that we blew him and not go for the appointment which was set.

It was the fastest time I had for hanging clothes.

I rushed to the car, grabbing a the readied little purse and the car keys. And I drove.

I have never been so contented in my entire life.

I managed perfectly perfectly well!! In fact, I did excellently!!!

I went up this super steep and narrow road; I did a side parking; and I did a backside parking for a straight parking.

All at first attempt without having to twist the steering to its maximum and give the ugly thwack as an indication of its limit.

And later I drove all the way to the bank. It was raining. But I suddenly got adventurous and devilishly reckless; I decided to go on my own joy drive. And I drove around for almost an hour; purposely getting myself into jams and the most difficult of roads to drive. It was all absolutely excellent. I was so relaxed for the first time that I even drove with one hand on the steering wheel.

I even attempted this crazy idea of reversing out of the porch but not quite out of the house; but around the compound until the front of my car was facing the gate. Something which my mom will never dare to do.

So, the dahdee actually told the mommay what I did at home.

And hence, I was included in the alumni of "royalties".

Oh yes, I have just been told this afternoon that I own a Ted Baker tote bag!!!!! [Apparently, the sister said that she saved me from getting a Clarks bag instead. Yes, Clarks sells handbags in London.] And a couple of Burberrys and Ralph Laurens. [But the sister has an entire wardrobe of Hawes & Curtis and TM Lewin]

Magnificent!!!

Hah! My reward for being "Cinderella for a day"!!

Anyway, about Uni; I find that the method of teaching rather different. Every class is like some mini session of ELS.

But there's more thinking and arguing and "philosophies" to be written this time.

I miss Miss Marguerite's lectures and tutorials actually. Justine agreed with me too.

Ah, the life of me. It's always about books, books and more nerding.

I shall get back to nerding and attempt to sleep early today. [Failed for the past 4 days]

Have a great day!!

p/s: I have a feeling that had I flown to London with my mom and sis, they'll probably be bumming home with even more clothes.

Oh and they're bringing home Baileys!!! [Eh, suddenly have an ardent fancy for alcoholic drinks.]

Nono, I have to keep sane. Or be accused of being a lousy lawyer like Joe Biden who can hardly get his facts right for maths, economics, history, law and constitution of the USA. Hmm, Obambi has found his perfect candidate; besides Kevin Federline, who will not outshine him or stand in his way of having his agendas done.

Rock on Ann Coulter and Sarah Palin.

I wonder why Americans wanna vote for brainless people like Joe Biden's elitist party.

It Is Finished!!!

And so, it is FINISHED.

I am so HAPPY!!! And Contended!!!

My dearest tv, here I come!!! Oh, I have been so deprived of entertainment.

I ran wild when I got home. Was talking too much and was too chirpy.

Ooh... and I was greeted with awesome things!!!

First, it's the glorious Korean fried dumpling.

And then there are the bling blings that my mom bought me.

My mom actually called me to give me encouragement, pray with me and wish me all the best.

Only to find my phone ringing on my pillow in my bedroom. Really potong steam right?? Well, that's my talent.

My dad was laughing his head off when he was told that I forgot my phone again.

I was the one complaining about him always leaving his phone behind and I am practicing the same thing myself now. It's the third time.

And it just has to be on the day when I'm most busy.

Good things came out of the moot afterall.

I'm so happy about the really positive comments that I got.

Apparently, my manner of speech was superior. As in, the pace was good. The solicitor said that my manner was better than Nicholas's. What an irony. I was the one getting all the banging on lack of confidence, eye contact and monotony.

It's like I have a severe attitude problem. I only do well when I'm under intense and severe pressure.

The solicitor was impressed with my bundles too. So the breakdown and the 2-3 hours sleep a day for almost a week paid off after all.

We only lost by a few marks. It was a close fight.

The Reading lecturer asked if we got professional training before this.

Well, not exactly professional training; but professional support and comments from my dearest mateys!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH PEOPLE FOR ALL YOUR HELP and COMMENTS YOU GAVE ME!!! Made me work harder , more seriously and put in more effort into the manner of speech.

I'm sorry I screwed the summary up. I just wanted it to end.

All is good now. All is good.

Congratulations to the other counsels. They deserved it. And Nick's speech was really really good and professional!!!

We all did great. My team too!! I'm so proud. And happy. [I sound like a mother here. Cut the crap. It's not the Oscars.] But I'm still very happy!!!

With this good end to the moot, I shall carry on this encouragement and apply it to study for the freaking trials. And the finals.

Things are very unpredictable.

Stop putting a curse on yourself by saying that you cannot do it and giving up eventually.

Be positive and move on.

This is what I learnt from this moot.

Cheerios~~

Positivism

I need to learn how to be more positive and cheerful even in the midst of intense pressure and stress.

I have been extremely whiney and I didn't realise it until recently. I'm sorry if you are one of my victims of letting out. I may whine a lot, but trust me, I'm not as affected by those events as I seem to be. Why do you think my schoolmates call me the whining queen?? I'm just a professional ranter.

Things are finally looking up. Now I know what that poor cow over in UK is going through; slaughtering herself daily.

One week of moot has caused me to :

1. Go crazy
2. Be extremely busy
3. Have a nervous breakdown
4. Lose a whole deal of weight
5. Have sleepless nights
6. Lots of nightmares which is unusual
7. Become nocturnal all over again.

What more for the cow in UK who does skeleton arguments and moots and litigations every other day.

In a way, this moot has done me a lot of good. I am now:

1. Back to my nocturnal self
2. Back to the workaholic girl
3. Back on focus
4. More driven to do things
5. More analytical and analyse faster
6. See things in a wider scope
7. Learn to be more courteous/ethical
8. Not so emo
9. Better at handling stress and people
10. Learn to contemplate on a lot of things
11. More careful towards choice of words
12. A stronger person in character and in decision-making

Although I have a bong/uninterested/stressed-out face, I'm quite ok. I may be a little battered. But after some sleep I'm as good as new.

I don't know why, everyone sort of like treat me like I am some overworked girl who has an overworked disease and hence should not be disturbed.

In fact, I'm crazier than ever. But it's just that I don't show it. [Don't wanna be deemed overworked/delusional] Craziness = stress released.

I have to thank YeeLin for teaching me how to let out in a better way rather than whining.

Perhaps I give more cutting remarks. If you can't handle it, then don't.

I have finally persuaded my mom to allow me to hang stuff in my room. In fact, she even helped me think of a solution.

I actually thought of sticking all the Nun's Priest's Prologue and Tale stuff on my curtain but my mom came up with the idea of boxes. I have a lot of empty boxes and they are now being put into good use.

Here's a picture of what I've done so far.

When I've finished cleaning my room up, maybe I'll take a picture of my room. Maybe. [The room's all messed up again. Typically.]

I even did this FOCUS tag to remind myself to be more focused rather than become delusional again.

My mom actually laughed when she saw this tag.
The most exasperating quote of the day??
"Are you sure you can handle the pressure of the moot?? Make sure you don't break down and cry arr..."
Courtesy of my mom when I told her that my mock moot is tomorrow. How encouraging.
Isn't it just great to have a bong face in these times?? I mean for the moot.
I shall work my arse off until the Finals are over. Work with me?? I'll be most glad to help if I can in any way.

p/s: Btw, I'll be going to Genting this Friday. Parents wanna go there to watch Herman's Hermits. It's just so weird. Not forgetting that I have a moot to prepare for.

What am I doing here??

Ok, I shall prepare my moot now.

MOOOOO. [I'm a working cow too. Just recently.] > Awesome way of signing off isn't it??

Mooting Update

I'm still feeling very numb.

I'm in college on a Saturday to do the moot.

Things are finally turning around.

Our stuff are more gathered now.

I just need a couple more cases to really make my argument concrete.

And I need to read all the contract law books again on acceptance.

I'm kinda happy today. But it is the kind of happiness which is dampened.

I'll be here again tomorrow to complete the bundles.

I really need to get a life.

I am just so tired and drained.

p/s: McD's wifi sucks. I can't access the internet at all!!!

College

Yea, so college has restarted. Again.

I really dread college.

College restarting =
  1. More work
  2. No life
  3. Clothes woe
  4. Poor lil tortured feet
  5. A lot of pressure
  6. A lot of work
  7. Reminds me that I need to start studying
  8. The moot is getting closer.

Yesterday, I decided to eat the VIETNAMESE SPECIAL BEEF NOODLE

It costs RM 8.90.

And I thought, hey, why not give it a try?? If it costs so much it should taste good.

And indeed the picture looks good.

Think three times the next time you judge a book by its cover.

The beef noodle was the WORST that I have eaten.

The kueh teow tastes like chewable plastic.

The beef ball tastes like cheap market fish balls which is made of crap stuff which is cheap fish with a lot of flour.

The beef meat tastes like pork cooked with tenderiser.

Only the cow's stomach tastes good.

And the amount of onions and bean sprouts that they give, it is like Bombay is giving away a lot of free onions and bean sprouts materialise magically out of thin air.

And the funny thing is, at 2 pm after that, I was hungry again. And I mean really hungry.

I ate chicken porridge. It is cheap and it tastes totally awesome.

I am on a mission here.

A mission to bring someone down because the person thinks too highly of oneself.

I'm sorry, but your ego has given me the enthusiasm to work really hard and put in a lot of effort into the moot.

Oh, and the someone who blew the first moot meeting actually told someone else that she is mooting.

I'm sorry sister, you are NOT.

Unless you can prove yourself worthy to be a mootee and that you know your Contract Law inside out. Then yea, I will let you in.

I really need all the help that I can get.

I know it is impossible to look for cases with such limited resources. And to start with, it's difficult to know how to start to search for a case.

I just need you to help me ponder over the point of law and I will search for the case.

Thank you very much.

I shall have to get back to work now.

p/s: I have to submit in my points and all the cases by this Friday. Yes, it is squeezing me but I shall prevail.

I SHALL TRIUMPH

Awating In Agonising Anguish

There can be miracles,
When you believe;
Though hope is frail,
It's hard to kill.

Who knows what miracles,
You can achieve;
When you believe,
Somehow you will.

You will when you believe.

What is faith?

Leaving something entirely into the hands of someone you wholly trust. Believing that person.

Faith. My faith is rising. I have never been so blessed in my entire life.

It truly is a miracle that I did so well for AS.

And I thank God for that.

I had a major breakdown and cried the night before I sat for my Economics paper during the AS Finals.

I knew that I did not prepare well. And I was afraid.

I went out to the hall crying and hugged my mom. Thank God for my mom who is always there to comfort me and to assure me of the greatness that God has done in my life.

Indeed He has proved it again.

Sometimes, I don't deserve what I get. I am lazy. Complacent. Sloppy. Blur. Others who are more deserving should be blessed too and in fact, even more.

The fear of letting others down is strong.

But what matters the most is that you know what you want and what you can do.

Expectations are there to direct you and to drive you to reach your goals. It should be the influencing factor to give you additional pressure.

Hence, I dedicate this song to all lecturers.

It's my mistakes that make me strong. I learnt it the hard way.

Somehow, God is like the one directing how my days should go.

I don't know why, for some reason, I decided to join the Sociology class while waiting for my results.

And the sociology class got the results way later than the Maths people.

It's like He just wants to give me more drama and the suspense so that the surprise will be a pleasant surprise.

Couldn't believe my eyes for a moment.

And I went floating on the clouds. But got shot down immediately.

Earth to Debble. Humility is a key hallmark characteristic.

The agonising wait was worth it after all.

Now I know why my piano teacher is so irritated with my muted expression. Because I potong steam.

Congratulations to everyone. I think our class did extremely well. And thank you for all the congratulations from all you people. Really appreciate it.

Let us all work together and move on with a great lust for an even more promising future.

And close this chapter for a while.

Past, Present, Future

2007 has been:
  1. Hectic and at the same time sloppy. Or at least I have been extremely sloppy.
  2. Quite fun. Meeting all sorts of different people and the best part is nobody knows about your past and no one judges you because of your past reputation or record.
  3. Delusional. I have strayed, lost focus and just plain delusional.
  4. Very fluctuative. One minute, I love A Levels, the next, I hate it with all my heart.
  5. Quite good. For a record, I actually do my homeworks. Most of them anyway compared to the rare moments of me doing my homework in school.
  6. Lonesome. I am surrounded by people that I care about, but somehow, I still feel lonely.
  7. Perky. I'm usually only crazy at home, but somehow, this year, it actually surfaced to my life outside my home.
  8. Challenging. I realise that I'm always in a situation of wrecking my brains to come up with something extraordinary. Unfortunately, it is not always appreciated because apparently it is not needed. Wasted quite a lot of brain cells there. It's not like anyone appreciates it and lecturers sometimes think that I am showing off. I wasn't trying to. I thought this is what college is about: being outstanding and try to be as intellectual as possible to succeed.
  9. Too exam-orientated. I admit, my learning now is a little exam orientated. I only study when I'm required to whereas in school, I study for my own information because you will never get any from teachers.
  10. Overall, great. Have great friends who actually understand my sense of dry and extremely sarcastic even to an extent insulting humour. Some people just don't get it.

This year... which is 2008 [Dammit!!] I resolute to...

  1. Work my ass off. This includes sacrificing my telly and probably shopping sprees.
  2. Get all A's for my A Levels and truly work for it.
  3. Be more hardworking and serious.
  4. Be more of myself and less of the person that the society wants me to be. That means, my mood will be constantly fluctuating. I believe there's 2 sides of every person. I shall further elaborate this later on.
  5. Be in more control of my own things.
  6. Make myself SKINNY. Yes, I so resolute to do this because I am seriously very SICK of not being able to fit into clothes that I wanna buy.
  7. Read more books.
  8. Save more money to buy stuff that I want and won't get from my mom and spoil myself sometimes.
  9. Stop being a glutton. Sigh. After today I mean. Just gorged on a lot of food for lunch just now. Stop eating so much and stop being so greedy!!!
  10. Be more humble and less of a perfectionist on others.
  11. Get a new phone. Especially once I've got my job for the gap year.

The further elaboration of #4:

The usual side that people think me to be is the serious, boring, taciturn nerd of a nun who has no sense of dressing and lives like a zombie. And apparently, extremely intellectual, a complete perfectionist and prideful.

The other side is the crazy person who is always locked up inside due to being afraid that I will actually scare people with my sudden bizarre behaviour. The other side is also outgoing, cheerful and friendly.

The crazy side is often forced to recede.

I shall be more realistic with myself from now on. Even if it means having the occasional very strong-willed and headstrong person surfacing.

So please, don't misunderstand if I'm a little too quiet sometimes. When I'm quiet it usually means that I'm serious and down-to-business.

Oh, and most of the time, people think that I often astral myself to Pluto and they always say: "Earth to you!! Come back from Pluto, stop dreaming/staring off into Spain!!". I'm not. I'm usually in deep thought. I'll tell you that now whether you accept it or not. And I intend to do that a lot this year because I have been playing too much last year that I screwed up a lot of things. And I suspect, my AS results.

My resolution for the future:

  1. Be successful and earn lotsa moolahs and kahchings to the extent that I can buy anything I want without blinking or thinking twice. And that means a beautiful beautiful house with a beautiful garden and a grand piano with glass sliding doors and the wind blowing in. Oh, and whatever techy stuff I want.
  2. Own a beautiful car. Even if it means taking the public transportation everyday for 3 years once I start working.
  3. Do extremely well in everything that I do.

Alright now. Enough of blogging. I'm gonna go and do Contract now and find materials.

Yes, I finally opened my contract book and Chaucer.

It's really hell of a great time trying to read/understand wth Chaucer is writing.

But I like the slang tho. It's hilarious.

Toodles. [To the person who thinks that this is a nickname for me, it is not. It means Goodbye for crying out loud.]
