Lil B here. It's not such a sunny day down in my lethal legal sphere where daggers are hidden, looks are deceiving, words are bent to the untruth, and expressions can hardly be deciphered. You think your life is a funfair circus? Wait till you shake a hand with invisible needles, brittle piecemeal alliances, and unrepentant bitchings which threaten to ruin the one's reputation.

Fly Away

So, today, the momma and the daddy flew back to Malaysia.

We had to get up early to catch the tube to Heathrow. And the train ride was almost an hour.

Exhausting. Exhausting.

And, we were all so exhilarated when the luggages weren't overweight!!!

But the handcarries were seriously heavy like crazy. That's the trick. Because they don't weigh your handcarry.

And the good news is that Heathrow allows more than one handcarry now!!! The previous ruling of only one handcarry was crazy. Even a small lil handbag was considered to be a handcarry and it shall have to be stuffed into one handcarry.

While waiting for the parents to check in, I waited at the side with the handcarries and this Thai couple came.

And they started unpacking. And stuffing. I guess their luggage was overweight. I can see why. Because the girlfriend bought carpets and tea trays and lots of ridiculously funny things.

The parents checked in rather quickly. And they passed through the checkpoints really quickly too!!

The mommay didn't wanna go because she wants to stay back and have fun with us. But unfortunately, she has a bigger baby to take care of; because the daddy has to go back to work before his employers personally fly over and drag him back to work.

After waving them off, my sis and I felt so much lighter and free!!! No more formalities and all, we just had to be us!!

We were so sleepy and hungry, we had to sit down and munch on something while we wait for the tube. Because we missed one.

And when the next one came, my sister was so blur and bimbotic, happily munching on her raspberry puff [which is heavenly, btw] as if nothing mattered in the world.

Until I said, "Aren't you getting on the train?" [The train was right in front of us]

Sister : [frantically gets up] YES!!!!!

We had to do a dash for the train. Only to have the train stop for a while to realign the cabins. Blargh. All the dashing for nothing.

And we sat in the train for another 50 minutes before we got off at Holborn for my sister to change her corresponding address in her university.

And spontaneously, she suggested that we should go for a movie!!!

Debble : [hops around excitedly] At Odeon??

Sister : No. [In her usual dry tone] We're going to Angel.

Because it's cheaper. Ah, as usual, as usual. So, we hopped on the bus and we're off!!

The bus driver was rather nice. Because he waited for us while we sprinted all the way to the bus station.

We have been doing sprints for buses for the past 2 days. Once to go to Sainsbury [it's something like Tesco] and when we got out of Sainsbury, the bus was just a stone's throw away. And the bloody pedestrian light was red.

There were 3 of us in a row waiting impatiently. The minute the traffic stopped, all 3 of us dashed to the bus. It must have been a sight to behold if one were to be the spectator. Aiks.

And so, at Angel, we went to Vue [the cinema] and decided to watch The Mummy. Because it was the only thing worth watching.

After getting the tickets [I had to use my sister's student id], we skipped off to Burger King for lunch. Gosh, their fries are good!!! And we were both so greedy, we ordered super size. Only to have our faces turn green while we try to finish the fries. And we couldn't finish the super large Coke.

Then I had a brilliant idea. Sneak it into the cinema!!! We had small carrier bags in our bagpack in case the parents needed to throw some stuff out if their luggages were overweight.

So I placed both cups at the end of the bag, and placed my arm in the middle to make sure that they sit upright.

The cinema was nice!! It's like GSC's Gold Class. And it's free seating!!!!! We bought nachos with salsa.Oh, and I'm suddenly addicted to tomato soup. And the ketchup they gave at BK was so fresh, it was like fresh tomato soup!!! The salsa sauce, which is made out of tomato as well, was good!!! Ah, the bliss. [But we had to shut both eyes for the price of the nachos and the meal at BK. Back home, we could have walked into Tai Thong.]

The movie was OK only. But I liked the part on Ancient China. Other than that, the movie was quite forgettable. Typical family kind of movie. A bit like Indiana Jones, but not as nonsensical as IJ. They changed the history of Shih Huang Ti though. Jet Li's general was totally hot in the movie. Michelle Yeoh was gorgeous and so was the girl who acted as MY's daughter in the movie. I didn't know that Brendan Fraser is so buffed!

We went home and dropped on the bed and slept. I watched Wanted online. It was good. Love their sense of humour. But I didn't quite like the ending. The assasination actions were awesome!!! Angelina Jolie was hot as usual. If only she'll do more kick-ass movies.

That's about for today. The first taste of FREEDOM!!!!!
